Eminönü Bazaar is one of the most popular and cheapest shopping markets in Istanbul.
Eminönü Bazaar is located between the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. I will highlight 6 locations in this area.
- Tahmis street (next to Spice Bazaar)
- Hasırcılar street
- Cömerttürk street
- Mahmutpaşa street
- Şark han
- Havuzlu han
Keep in mind, most shops in all these locations close around 7 pm.

1) Tahmis street (next to Spice Bazaar)
Let’s start next to the main entrance of the Spice Bazaar.
Here you’ll find many varieties of Turkish delight, dried fruits, herbals teas, spices and much more.
This is where locals in Istanbul like to shop as well.
Here you find good quality, and prices are much cheaper than inside the Spice Bazaar.

2) Hasırcılar street
Our second stop is just around the corner of the Spice Bazaar on Hasırcılar street.
This is one of the busiest and cheapest shopping streets in Istanbul.
Here, you’ll find souvenir shops, beautiful coffee and tea sets, all kinds of household goods and much more.

3) Cömerttürk street
Number three on the list is Cömerttürk street.
You can find all kinds of electronic accessories for phones, cameras and cars on this street and around it.

4) Mahmutpaşa street
Next is Mahmutpaşa street. Mahmutpaşa street is especially popular by Turkish domestic visitors.
Here, you’ll find all kinds of clothing for all ages. Moreover, there are many options for bags and shoes.
You can also get cheap evening dresses at Mahmutpaşa street. It is also well-known for specific wedding items, such as gifts for wedding and henna nights or bridal accessories.
In general, you pay low prices for low-to mid-range quality.

5) Şark han
Şark Han is a six-level building with an incredible variety of gift options.
Like Mahmutpaşa street, it is also a popular spot for wedding-related items.
Prices are very affordable.
Many shops offer both retail and wholesale options.

6) Havuzlu han
Lastly on this list is Havuzlu Han.
This is an eight-level building dedicated entirely to babies. Here you’ll find everything required during pregnancy and for babies.
Prices are quite reasonable.
