Overview premium outlet shopping malls in Istanbul
I will focus on outlet shopping malls that offer premium western brands. While there are many outlet malls in Istanbul, only two offer these kind of brands.
Both shopping malls are located on the Asian side Istanbul, namely
- Optimum Istanbul premium outlet shopping mall
- Viaport Asia outlet shopping mall

1a) Optimum Istanbul premium outlet shopping mall
Optimum Istanbul specializes in premium brands.
At Optimum Istanbul, there are 165 stores. You’ll find clothing from top brands like Tommy Hilger, Calvin Klein, Birkenstock and BOSS amongst others.
Notably, the Optimum outlet mall is home to the only Polo Ralph Lauren store in Istanbul. Keep in mind there are many U.S. Polo Association stores around the city, but they are not the same as Polo Ralph Lauren.
Furthermore, in the Brandy’s store, you’ll find the luxury brand Armani amongst others.

1b) Optimum Istanbul: How to get there via public transportation
Optimum Istanbul outlet mall is quite centrally located on the Asian side of Istanbul.
The metro station Yenisahra is just a short walk away. If you’re coming from the European side, take the Marmaray and transfer at Ayrılık Çeşmesi to the M4 metro line.
For instance, the journey from Taksim square to Optimum Istanbul takes around 1 hour.

2a) Viaport Asia outlet shopping mall Istanbul
Viaport Asia outlet shopping mall is huge with 250 stores.
At Viaport, you’ll find all the brands mentioned for Optimum Istanbul.
Additionally, you’ll find stores of Lacoste, Gant, United colours of Benetton, Swarovski, Pandora, Crocs, Under Armour and many more.

2b) Viaport Asia outlet mall: How to get there via public transportation
Viaport Asia outlet mall is located further away on the Asian side of Istanbul.
To get there from the European side, take the Marmaray and transfer at Ayrılık Çeşmesi to the M4 metro line. Get off at the last station Sabiha Gökçen airport. From there, you can either catch the bus line UM73 or take a taxi.
As an example, the journey from Taksim square to Viaport Asia takes around 2 hours.
